The Rarità Promise

Build the community - fairly, honestly, and respectfully.

Rarita exists so people can discover and claim genuinely rare and collectible items in a fast, live, trustworthy marketplace. That only works when three things hold true:

• What you see is real - authentic items, honest descriptions, real photos and video.
• The deal is fair - transparent bidding, real payments, on-time shipping.
• People are safe - no abuse, no harassment, no hate, no scams.

Eligibility

Who can use Rarita? The rules are simple.

• You must be 18 years or older and legally able to enter contracts.
• Provide accurate information and complete KYC verification when asked.
• One person, one account — unless we approve an additional account in writing.
• You may not use Rarità if previously banned or under a sanctions / legal restriction.

Authenticity & Honest Listings

Authenticity and Integrity is everything.

You Must

• List only items you own and have the right to sell.
• Use your own photos and video of the actual item.
• Describe condition, age, origin, and any flaws or repairs accurately.
• Clearly disclose replicas, reproductions, restorations, or "inspired by" items.

You must not

• Sell counterfeit, fake, or knowingly misrepresented goods.
• Use stock images, stolen photos, or AI-generated images of the item.
• Inflate rarity, provenance, or authenticity with false claims or forged certificates.
• "Bait and switch" — show one item and ship another.

Counterfeiting and misrepresentation are among the fastest routes to a permanent ban.

Prohibited & Restricted Items

When in doubt, don't list it.

Never allowed

• Weapons & ammunition, explosives, prohibited arms.
• Drugs, narcotics, psychotropics & paraphernalia.
• Tobacco, vapes & e-cigarettes (ENDS).
• Alcohol, unless specifically licensed and permitted.
• Wildlife & derivatives — ivory, skins, horns, taxidermy.
• Protected antiquities, human remains, organs or bodily fluids.
• Counterfeits/replicas sold as genuine, and stolen property.
• Currency, financial instruments, lottery tickets, money-transfer tools.
• Government IDs (Aadhaar, PAN, passports), hazardous materials.
• Prescription medicines, supplements, regulated medical devices.
• Live animals, hacking tools/credentials, hate or extremist memorabilia.
• Sexually explicit material or anything involving minors.

Restricted (licence / disclosure + approval)

• Replicas and reproductions — must be clearly labelled.
• Items with batteries or magnets (shipping-restricted).
• High-value precious metals, gems & jewellery (hallmarking/KYC).

Fair Trading & Bidding Integrity

Keep Buy Now, Bidding & Auctions clean.

Sellers / hosts must not

• Shill bid — bid on your own items or use alt accounts to inflate prices.
• Cancel a sale to dodge a winning bid, or post misleading prices/urgency.
• Engage in price manipulation, collusion, or wash trading.

Buyers must not

• Bid without intent to pay, then ghost.
• Win and refuse payment, or repeatedly cancel.
• Coordinate to suppress or rig prices.

Everyone must not

• Take deals off-platform to avoid fees, escrow, or buyer protection.
• Abuse promotions, referral credits, or Rarita Credits (RC).

Live-Room Conduct

Hosts and viewers keep rooms safe and welcoming.

Hosts must

• Keep streams honest — no false scarcity or "last piece" pressure.
• Keep content clean — no nudity, sexual content, violence, or hateful symbols.
• Moderate their room and not solicit off-platform contact or payment.
• Not run unapproved giveaways, lotteries, or games of chance.

Viewers / chat must not

• Spam, flood, or post repetitive promotional links.
• Harass the host or other viewers.
• Share contact details to move deals off Rarita, or impersonate staff/users. We may record live rooms for safety, moderation, and dispute resolution.

Respect & Safety

Zero tolerance for abuse.

Casteist and communal slurs, hate speech, threats, sexual harassment, and doxxing have no place on Rarita — in any language or script.

• Hate speech & slurs targeting caste, religion, region, ethnicity, gender, orientation, disability, or appearance.
• Harassment & bullying — targeted insults, pile-ons, threats, stalking.
• Sexual harassment — unsolicited sexual remarks, advances, or content.
• Threats & incitement — threats of violence or coordinating attacks.
• Doxxing — sharing private info (phone, address, Aadhaar/PAN) without consent. This applies in all languages and scripts, including Hindi, Hinglish, and regional languages. Disguising abuse with spelling tricks, symbols, or emojis doesn't make it acceptable.

Illegal & Harmful Content

Never allowed — may be reported to law enforcement.

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexualisation of minors — immediate ban and mandatory reporting.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery and voyeuristic content.
• Sexually explicit material, pornography, or adult solicitation.
• Graphic violence, gore, or content glorifying violence or terrorism.
• Content promoting terrorism, extremism, or banned organisations.
• Misinformation endangering public health, safety, or public order.

Payments, Escrow & Financial Integrity

Pay and get paid only through Rarita.

• Funds are held in escrow and released after verification / no-dispute.
• Do not pay via UPI, bank transfer, gift cards, or any off-platform method.
• No money laundering, fraudulent chargebacks, or stolen payment instruments.
• No RC / wallet manipulation, fake top-ups, or refund-flow exploits.
• Comply with KYC and tax requirements (including GST where applicable).

Shipping, Delivery & Disputes

Dispatch on time, track honestly.

• Dispatch within the required window and provide honest tracking.
• No empty-box, wrong-item, or "lost in transit" scams.
• Record a packing/dispatch video for high-value items; buyers record unboxing.
• Use the in-app dispute process within the stated window — don't weaponise it.

Account Integrity

One secure account, used honestly.

• No impersonation of people, brands, or Rarita staff.
• No bots, automation, or scripts to bid, scrape, spam, or game features.
• No ban evasion via new accounts.
• No buying, selling, renting, or sharing accounts.
• Keep your login secure — you're responsible for activity on your account.

Reviews, Ratings & Feedback

Honest reviews from real transactions.

• Leave honest reviews based on real transactions.
• No fake, paid, or retaliatory reviews, and no review extortion.
• No manipulating ratings through alt accounts.

Reporting & Enforcement

How to report and how we act.

Use the Report button on any listing, live room, chat message, or profile. For urgent safety or legal issues, contact the Grievance Officer.

Depending on severity we may

• Warn and educate, or remove/hide content.
• Restrict features (live hosting, bidding, chat).
• Hold or reverse funds connected to a violation.
• Suspend or permanently ban the account and forfeit tied balances.
• Report to law enforcement where required by law.

Severe violations — CSAM, fraud, counterfeiting, threats, hate/caste/communal abuse — can result in an immediate permanent ban without warning.

You can appeal in-app or by emailing the Grievance Officer. Acknowledged within 24 hours; resolved within 15 days, per the IT Rules, 2021.
